Owner was very nice and the bikes where extremely fun to ride, the bikes are also really easy to ride with the auto assurance peddling.

Great experience! We rode about 10 miles along the river into Athens, up and down a lot of hills through OU, then back and didn’t even use half battery. Plenty of places to stop and eat/drink.

Doug was great, worked around our schedule, and knows the trails and area very well. It’s obvious to anyone that he cares about his customers and wants the experience to be fun.

Bikes are in great shape. The bike ride was definitely the highlight if a great weekend!

We rented eBikes on Labor Day from Hocking Hills Bike Rental. What an amazing and fun experience from the rental experience itself to the actual ride. The owners are knowledgeable about the bikes, trails and area. They are extremely friendly, honest and accommodating.

We decided that day on riding bikes and viewed the Hocking Hills Bike Rental on line where there were several mountain bike trails to choose. We however wanted to do a fun ride along the Andena bike trail to Athens so called instead of booking online. We were fully expecting to be rejected taking the bikes somewhere other than the designated trails featured. Instead we were pleasantly suprised how accommodating the owner was. Not only did he agree to our ride request, he was extremely accommodating with time and location to meet. Said he needed an hour to process the request, load up the bikes and meet us at the trail. He picked a great location to start the trail ride which was very convenient for us and provided great directions on how to get there. He arrived promptly when said with entire bike shop on wheels.

There were different models to choose, he could have easily up-sold us on a more expensive bike than what we needed but was very honest and forthcoming letting us know that the cheaper option would be well suited for our ride. He came with helmets if needed for proper safety and tools to make adjustments to the bikes for a perfect fit and even added a water bottle cage.

Gave an informative lesson on how to use the bike, most importantly the warning of heading back when battery was half drained. He had us ride down the street to ensure we were comfortable with the adjustments and ride before setting us loose on the trails. He also offered sag support along the trail if needed, just call and he would meet at our location. We had the bikes rented for 4 hours. He was there at the end when we finished for a seamless and easy transition.

Highly recommend this company and would rent e-bikes from them again!
