Our eBikes

The Hockhocking Adena Bikeway is a rail trail that runs along the Hocking River from Nelsonville to Athens, Ohio. This trail is very scenic, flat and easy to ride and very family friendly. The trail is 36 miles if you ride the entire distance but you do not have to ride the entire distance. Along the way, you will pass through two different nature preserves and the campuses of Hocking College and Ohio University. Also on your journey there are several places to stop, rest or have lunch.

The bikes for the Hockhocking Adena Bikeway assist each rider at an adjustable level. The e-bikes are pedal-assisted and are very suitable for making the entire trip from Nelsonville to Athens and back, with battery life remaining.

For this rail trail, you will be met in the employee parking lot of the Rocky Boot Outdoor Store. This is the start of the trail and parking is available. At the end of your ride you will return the bike to the same Rocky Boot location. Before you leave the parking lot for your ride we will go over the trail and the operation of the bike to make sure you are comfortable before you depart. Helmets an eye protection are available at no additional cost and are highly recommended.

E-Bike Rental Rates

E-bike rentals are based on a 4-hour rental. This allows you plenty of time to make the entire roundtrip at a leisurely pace or shorten the trip with a stop for lunch.
